How You Can Help

• Claim a shift: find an open slot on the schedule above, type your name at the top, and click it. It's claimed instantly — no need to post in the group chat first, though letting people know is still nice.
• Pacing: he tends to move faster than is safe for him right now — a gentle reminder to slow down goes a long way.
• O2 tubing: keep an eye on it while he's up and moving so it doesn't become a trip hazard.
• Just visiting counts: conversation and company are as valuable as any task.
• Meals: home-cooked food is always welcome (a crockpot meal works great) — coordinate timing in the group chat so we don't double up.
• Rides: if you can help with transportation to the Senior Center, church, or appointments, post in the group chat.

Daily Schedule to Keep in Mind

• Morning medications: given after breakfast. He needs to stay upright (not lie down) for 30 minutes afterward.
• Evening medication: given right after dinner.
• Nebulizer treatments: 4 times a day, roughly 8am / 12pm / 4pm / 8pm.
• If you're not sure whether something's been given already, check the group chat or ask whoever was here before you.
